'29 & Holding'

A TRIBUTE TO THE MUSIC OF ADELE

With Adele on hiatus from music, the world is left with a gap that begs to be filled. '29 & Holding' is a celebration of Adele's career thus far, featuring select songs from her albums 19, 21, 25 and 30. Join us for this emotional rollercoaster as Mel Flores ebbs and flows on percussion, the piano flows like a river at the fingertips of John Paciga, and Bobbi Berracah captures the power and raw emotion of Adele's vocals that made us fall in love with the pop icon from the very start.

MEET THE BAND

Mel Flores

Percussionist

Raised in southern California, Mel’s parents gifted him his first drum set at the age of fifteen. He honed his craft playing in church, jazz improv classes, and wherever else he could, ultimately joining his first band to “give music a shot” before starting to pursue graduate education in Human Factors Psychology. He never went back. Instead, Mel developed into a compositionally-minded musician who has now performed across the U.S. & internationally. In 2022 Mel and his wife, Kathy, relocated to Bowling Green, KY. It wasn’t long before his skills caught the attention of others in the greater Nashville area. Believing his musical talents are a gift from Jesus, Mel is blessed to continue growing & performing as a musician while collaborating with like-minded musicians.

Bobbi Berracah

Vocals & band leader

A Maine native, Bobbi moved to Nashville after her youngest child graduated. However, she began honing her music skills in school choirs & bands starting at age 9. As an adult, she followed her parents’ example and fronted various cover bands throughout Maine and later Nashville. She regularly challenged herself by competing in country & gospel music genres and has won over 50 awards to date. After securing her Bachelor’s degree in Business, she ventured into Entertainment Law, completing two good years of law school before abandoning that idea to focus more diligently on her music. Bobbi is currently a featured vocalist with the Playback Band, performs regularly for the non-profit Music for Seniors, and plays her original songs with her ukulele 'Fancy' on the Nashville songwriter circuit.

John Paciga

Pianist

John Paciga is a Nashville-based composer, keyboardist, vocalist, and educator. Since moving to Nashville, he’s earned a Master's in Commercial Composition & Arranging from Belmont, fostered the growth of countless young musicians, and performed with various touring artists and tribute bands spanning a wide range of genres, such as Sarah Potenza, SistaStrings, John Angotti, Cam Rao, Teresa Suber & Deidre Thornell. As an undergraduate at Yale, he directed the Whiffenpoofs and the Spizzwinks(?), and spearheaded recording projects for both groups. Today, he continues to write and produce music for his solo artist project and for Hometowne Music Group, a songwriting collective co-founded by John and his lifelong friends from Clinton, NJ.
